escalator up shoes

01/29/2007

Today, there are times a quick report.
(Before) Yesterday experienced and already in your computer, ladies and gentlemen!

was Friday night again the DJW-Stammtisch. This time we were 12th and it was quite funny. Incidentally, the Japanese island of about 20 liters of beer was bad, free A step in the right direction, but much to do ... ;)
But that was the last of the beer-destruction features that I could organize .. I hope the tradition continues still ...

Saturday I am meeting with Susan. I was a little earlier at the meeting point in Beck's Coffee shop and have bought something for breakfast. I wanted a chicken sandwich and have the guy said, "Oh, it is the first from 10 clock. I
Look at the clock and thinking "oh man, you're really in Japan," but actually because the clock showed 9:52 clock. Super ... Apparently, the chicken sandwich at a Japan-width is from 10-clock-we-produce-chicken-sandwiches-automatic sensors are connected, which is secured with a timer.
So, I wanted to take the coffee without the coffee set - but to take. That was not, because only here can you eat.
Ok ... then fortunately there was just the Geschätsführerin and asked me if I did not take the coffee-sets which would otherwise taking what is allowed. "How about a chicken sandwich?" there was the question.
It has probably made a criminal offense and is now accused of high treason, because they offered me a Chicken Sandwich at exactly 9:55 clock (Central Tokyo time).

Well, Susan, I was then in the Sankei Park in Yokohama, where the Zen monk has Shunmyo Masuno (ataje-blog reported) planted a small garden. Unfortunately, the middle was a house and the house closed for a tea ceremony.

have a large garden even missed a few trees and use their off to a jump start and have begun to bloom.

plum trees:

With the beautiful green bamboo, I find it very nice ...

A few more photos of the garden ...

In the garden stands a house in the Sankei Hara (hence the name Sankei-Park) lived. Even "his" snow shoes are still there;)

The park was a small lake with ducks. A variety of ducks was funny, had feathers on its head that looked like hair and slipped while diving sometimes the "haircut" and looked like little punks.

course I can not resist that and had to feed the punks and the Koi Go ... bread with small chains;)

After the park are Susan and I went to Chinatown for dinner and then we were in an aquarium. It was more a learning aquarium for children. It was at the entrance of such a magnetic pen and the respective aquaria were written quizzes and one had the answer to a small board button. When the magnet stuck to the answer was correct. Needless to mention that my answers were almost always wrong. Either because I had not understood the question (probably only for Japanese children;)) or because I simply do not answer the "How the fish looks like a) Zombie b) or c) the devil.?" could not see ...

was also interesting, as here, the tanks were made. There was such an aquarium, because everything inside was constructed as a sushi restaurant. With the bar, sticks, soy sauce and bowls, etc. Then menu was filled with water and the aquarium makabreweise just the fish that were on the set menu as pure. The swimming so to speak at the sushi restaurant in the "air" around .. Unfortunately I verpeilt as to take a picture.

An aquarium in the aquarium:

Even "Dog" was there;)

was in the gift shop then several small dolphins, crabs and fish as pets. It were also small current Pandas sold. I've just got a can shoot on the run before he disappeared in the elevator;)

'm in Chinatown I still can engrave my new Ipod. The guy has attended on television and engraved most mobile phones. But .. looks but actually not that bad, ne?

Sunday I'm with R. over to Izu Peninsula (Shizuoka Prefecture)

Here is a picture .... bottom left of the "Izu Peninsula" is. There we are high on the east side over and then drove around and back again across the direction of Tokyo.

The east side is really difficult for foreign Tourists visit because no trains go there and only one big road there is. The weather was not soo doll, so very few people were on the road.

So we are along the coast, have stopped now and then and walked to the small observation platforms. Mount Fuji could be seen not so good. It looked more like he was coming out of nowhere, as it's "floor" could not see at all.

In Dogashima there is an orchid park, to which I wanted from the start point. By train and bus, I was much too far, but by car it is fortunately still executed cut that I see what the could. Thanks to R. and the red Saab;)

you I will not be here to show the hundreds of orchid images, therefore, only two of them ...
at the end of the park you could also buy orchids. But I think that here in Japan are very overpriced ... but what sees as my eye?
four small orchids, still in the glass on the soil, where they are grown, and for only about 4.50 €.
are now so get my German back home still Orchis Society of Japan)

The Orchids Resort was built on a hillside and one is from greenhouse to Greenhouse walked through parks and along beautiful trees, etc. In between we had to just climb stairs as well. Japanese people like it but always beautiful and comfortable without much effort, so e was also an escalator next to the greenhouse.

You tell me, you often see near death experiences in a tunnel and it is moving towards a bright light. I am convinced, as we Germans like the idiots running towards the light, cozy Japanese drive down the escalator there.

view from a vantage spot:

The perfect place for fishing:

Why not? Check it out gaaaaanz closely. Then you see that the fishing spot is there is already full:)

until then
