A personal confession of Peter's 80th Birthday and the second anniversary of the election of the Holy Father.
As a child I have awakened some time ago from a dream, frightened and anxious. Confused, I was in my fear for our beloved Holy Father, of which constituted the dream. Even in the waking state stopped the irrational fear of losing him. How can that be, I wonder, how can this happen? Stark, if I may say so indiscreet, the love to be a man, if one suspects, to bear his loss can not and it is hoped only that this day can be as long as possible in coming. And truly, Benedict XVI. is very close to me, closer than John Paul II, for Joseph Ratzinger has given me a long way before his election as Pope so much. Without him, without his wise and kind words I would not be where I am without him probably would be my faith was never raised in such a way without him I would be today sidelines of this path and the true, glorious life. The love for him makes his sight.
